Mr. Tools purwell,

,-

Bridport , Vt.

My dear Mr. purwell;—

I thought you would be pleased to know that

Laura appeared at our recital last saturday evening, and showed no

little ability in her performance on the piano. We think here that
she has a talent for her music and that she ought to cultivate it ,
for her own pleasure and yours if for no other reason. She seems

to be happy and contented here , and is doing good work in all depart—

ments.

Sincerely yours,
