- This diary was written by Mrs. Lucy Dupuy Craig Woolfolk of Woodford County, Kentucky between January 1, 1863 and June 19, 1865.The diary details the daily life of the Woolfolk family. Domestic activities such as cooking and sewing are recorded, as are trips to Lexington and Versailles to shop or visit relatives. A few comments about the Civil War and locations of troops are included. At the end of the diary is a list of expenses during 1865 for such items as food, clothing and books.
