- Pioneer. Edward Callistus Barlow was the grandfather of the collection donor, Dr. E. C. Barlow. Henry Barlow was the first family member to emigrate to Kentucky.

- These papers are comprised of a diary and genealogical information concerning the Barlow family of Georgetown, Ky.
