Nora Hackett Gayle was the wife of onetime Kentucky Congressman June Ward Gayle.
Scope and Content
The library holds the original of the fair story in 56M139. This microfilmed collection consists of a typescript story about an old-fashioned fair held in New Liberty, Ky, an 1833 issue of THE CROSS AND BAPTIST BANNER, and a printed copy of a speech given by Thomas Jefferson in 1801.

Special Collections Research Center - Closed

The Breckinridge Research Room will be closed starting May 11, 2026, and anticipates re-opening Fall semester 2026 in an alternate location for the duration of the King Library renovation.
