- "To Henry Hendricks for two drums furnished the 1st Regiment of Kentucky Militia ordered to join General Hull in Canada at $6.00 per drum - $12.00 / Examined and approved and James Taylor United States agent will pay the same which drums have been received by the army / Received of James Taylor United States agent twelve dollars in full of the above account August 18 1812." Signed by John Payne.
