- This collection contains the business and family papers of Morgan Linville of Bourbon County, Kentucky. The family letters are from relatives in North Carolina and Kentucky. The business records are correspondence, agreements, promissory notes from Joseph Bryan and others, tax receipts signed by Thomas Hughes and a slave bill of sale for a girl named Juda, age 13.

The Breckinridge Research Room will be closed starting May 11, 2026, and anticipates re-opening Fall semester 2026 in an alternate location for the duration of the King Library renovation.
Reproduction requests will still be available during the closure.
