- John Hunt Morgan (1825-1864) was a Confederate general and cavalry officer during the American Civil War. Born in Alabama, Morgan spent the majority of his life in Lexington, Kentucky.
- Scope and Content
- Broadside issued by John Hunt Morgan addressed to the people of Estelle [sic] and adjoining counties, announces that arms should be turned over and that those failing to do so will be considered enemies of the government. References "Bushwack-ers."
