- Lewis Withers resided in Garnettsville, Meade County, Kentucky, with his sons, Warder Worth, Henry Newton, John Boyd, and David B. Withers.
- Scope and Content
- The Withers family papers include receipts, deeds, contracts, indentures, surveys, account books, tax receipts, stock certificates, and correspondence. Most letters deal with business matters, although a few discuss family news. Several bills for such items as groceries, lumber, and lawyers' fees are also contained. Some land deeds include property surveys.
