- William J. D. Cahill, an 1898 graduate of the State University, now the University of Kentucky, in mechanical engineering, operated a dairy in Fayette County, Ky. and was active in racing meets for trotting horses.
- Scope and Content
- The Cahill family papers (dated 1895-1932; 0.23; 1 box) contain correspondence and business records relating to William James David Cahill, horse racing, his dairy, and his family. They also contain bills, receipts, business letters and miscellaneous family items. A folder of business correspondence contains information on the 1914 election of alumni to the Board of Trustees of the University of Kentucky.
