Scope and Content
Some of the material has Sharp's name spelled "Sharpe".
These papers consist of evidence gathered in a law suit which involved a land dispute in Lexington, Ky. Included with the legal papers are depositions, an appeal bond and a subpoena. Of note is a plat of early Lexington which shows in detail, the layout of the town and discusses how Lexington was settled.

The Breckinridge Research Room will be closed starting May 11, 2026, and anticipates re-opening Fall semester 2026 in an alternate location for the duration of the King Library renovation.
