Scope and Content
These are the microfilmed records of Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church, Lexington, Ky. (May 17, 1892-January 17, 1984) The materials consist of minutes of the Session and congregational meetings. Also included are church registers which list pastors, elders, and deacons. There is also a section on investments, lists of communicants, baptisms and deaths and a typed copy of "Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church Historical Sketch". A few notes and correspondence are laid between some pages.

Special Collections Research Center - Closed

The Breckinridge Research Room will be closed starting May 11, 2026, and anticipates re-opening Fall semester 2026 in an alternate location for the duration of the King Library renovation.

Reproduction requests will still be available during the closure.
