- Biography / History
- Colonel Robert S. Strader (1836-1891) owned a farm in Boone County where he was a horse breeder before moving to Lexington, Kentucky, to operate a stable and the Lexington trotting track. He was a horse dealer before starting R.S. Strader and Son distillers with his son Wilson Peter Strader in 1890.
