- The Foleys settled in Fayette county, Ky, early in the nineteenth century. They farmed, ran Higbee Mill on South Elkhorn Creek, and operated a general store.
- Scope and Content
- This reel of microfilm contains papers of the Foley family of Fayette County, Ky. Among the papers are deeds, bills, receipts, and other records relating to the the family businesses. Genealogical information about the Foleys is also included.

The Breckinridge Research Room will be closed starting May 11, 2026, and anticipates re-opening Fall semester 2026 in an alternate location for the duration of the King Library renovation.
