- Methodist Minister. L. F. Van Cleve was a Methodist Minister in the Northeast region of Kentucky around Maysville and Springfield.
- Scope and Content
- The material consists of a journal kept by L. F. Van Cleve. The entries in the journal consist of his travels, visits with his parishioners, subjects for his sermons, and his family life. Also included are minutes from a conference (possibly of Methodist ministers) which took place in Springfield, Kentucky in 1851.
