Biography / History
Confederate Army soldier. Leeland Hathaway was born in Clark County, Kentucky. He fought under General John Hunt Morgan in the Civil War, and was imprisoned at Allegheny, Pennsylvania, and Fort McHenry, in Baltimore, Maryland, after his capture by Federal forces.

This microfilm contains the manuscripts of speeches by Hathaway in which he reminisces about his wartime experiences.
