It includes receipts of sale to multiple families, including goods such as flour, tobacco, and cloth, as well as records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- The book itself was manufactured by the T. Gilpen & Company of Brandywine, Pennsylvania. Each page has a watermark with the company name or their crest on it.
